About:China Visa Fees

Transit Visa in Shanghai for UK citizen

I intend ,in September, to transit in Shanghai for either 24 or 48 hours enroute from UK to Hong Kong......does this qualify for a free visa?If so do i have to apply for the visa (waiver) before leaving or on arrival at Shanghai Airport?

Dear, you can enjoy 144 visa exemption as long as Shanghai is the only stop in mainland China.
