About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Syrian Citizen

Hello,
I hold a syrian passport valid for 2 years from now.

I will travel from Japan (I reside in Japan) to Beirut and I have transit of 2 hours in Guangzhou airport for 2 hours.
IS it ok??? should I apply for anything or is it ok as the transit is only 2 hours??

Aamer, this is not OK because Syrian citizens need a transit visa when traveling via Guangzhou. Simply speaking they are not eligible for 24 hours visa free transit in that case even if they are staying there just for 2 hours. If you only did not choose Guangzhou for your transit stop, you would be eligible for visa free transit through China. Like this, you will have to obtain a Chinese transit (G) visa in advance or change your flights.
