About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

Do you have to enter and exit through the same port for the Shanghai TWOV?

If I fly into Pudong international airport from Country A for the start of the 144 hour TWOV, do I have to exit from Pudong Airport to Country C, or can I exit from a different international airport within the Shanghai zone eg Nanjing or Hangzhou? Thanks!

You are perfectly allowed to use Nanjing, Hangzhou and Hongqiao airports to exit the country because they are all eligible ports of entry/exit within Shanghai transit zone. It really doesn't matter whether you have arrived through one, in your case Pudong airport, and exit through another eligible port. It is important though that you have fixed plan which one will you use even before your arrival in China.
