About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

Accommodation during the Beijing 144 hours visa free policy?

Do I have to stay in a hotel while in transit or can I stay with family?

You can stay with a family, but you will have to declare that upon your landing with very precise details about the address and the family itself and after that you will have to register at the Public security bureau (PBS). Nothing special, nothing to worry about, but just fulfill what is required and that's it.
