About:China Business Visa

Chinese M to Z visa

Can you start on a business visa (M) and then move to a z visa if you are hired by the company while you are in China? Irish passport.

As an example, if someone had some short term negotiations to complete (M visa) but then knew they would be employed after a period of time (Z visa).

Yes, you can. After obtaining work permit, you can convert M type to Z type at local Public Security Bureau.
