About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit Visa On Arrival in Beijing with plane (transit for 21 hours) a European Union citizen

I will come from Poland and go to Vietnam. I will have an official invitation to Vietnam, to get Vietnam visa by arrival in Hanoi.
So, can I get free transit visa in Beijing if i have only an official invitation to Vietnam?

Chinese immigration authorities are well aware of Vietnam visa obtaining process and they will definitely honor an official invitation as something definitely acceptable. Having that in mind and the fact that you will be staying in Beijing for 21 hours, you are definitely eligible for 24 hours visa free transit. Please, just use correct terminology because you will not be traveling on any kind of visa, but completely visa free (without visa).
