About:Do I Need A Visa for Guangzhou If Traveling from Hong Kong?

China to China via Hong Kong - how does visa work?

I have a 1-entry visa to China and will arrive to Xiamen. I want to travel to Guangzhou but I need to pass via Hong Kong (my specific train). I want to spend 3-4 days in HK and then reenter China to Guangzhou to carry on my trip to China. Does this passage through HK consume a visa entry, ie, I will not be able to reenter China? Or does HK count as part of China when it comes to recognition of Chinese visa?

It is a pity that this does not work, the one entry visa will be consumed at the time you leave for HK. So you would need another visa back to Guangzhou.
