About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa required inbound overland from Hong Kong continuing by air to Europe via Beijing?

We will travel by train from Hong Kong to Guilin by train and then depart China within 72 hours (Guilin-Beijing-Amsterdam). Do we need a visa?
