About:Hainan 30-Day Visa-Free Access

hello! I have a direct flight to Hainan and would like to stay as a group tourist without visa.

But I have my valid china visa in passport, I want then to travel china for next 30 days. would it be possible? please help me ^

Thank you! I were super helpful to me. Now I am on the island without visa validation as you recommend. Please be so kind to tell me how should I leave the island now. I want to go to Beijin or other mainland city. Where my visa would be activated? Because as I know not every airport between local flights has passport control zone! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Zupan! Here they told me I am allowed to go to Hong Kong only. And then to China mainland allowed. Is it correct?

Yes, it is possible for you to preserve your actual Chinese visa although you will visit Hainan. You and the people from your group should opt for 30-day Visa Free Access and this option will leave your actual standard visa untouched. Basically, you have to make your bookings, buy your plane tickets and after that you will contact relevant tourist agency that will send its support for approval to relevant authorities. You will have to book some of the agency products like airport transfer or (half) day trip. After that, you will get the approval and you will arrive by plane to Hainan. Now, one very important detail. Upon arrival you have to be very focused not to use your visa unintentionally. So, before immigration you will approach the counter dealing with 30-day Visa Free Access and there you will explain the situation. Immigration officials are already used to such situations, so he/she will just confirm your visa free access and your visa will remain unused. Again, upon landing, just take care not to go to immigration, but to approach to visa free and VOA counter and after that you will be allowed to exit the airport, enjoy your time in Hainan and return out of China with your visa ready to be used when you plan to do that.

Glad to hear that everything was just fine :). Now you have your unused ticket and you will use it when departing for some other city within mainland China. In principle, you are allowed to travel directly from Hainan airports to mainland cities and this is also much cheaper than flying somewhere abroad and then return back to China. Now, what will be your next destination in mainland China, it will be your choice and based on your preferences. If I were you, I would choose the area around Guilin & Yangshuo and after that slowly moving by trains toward China. Also, the flights from Hainan to Guilin tend to be quite affordable.

In order to activate your visa, you will have to contact your agency that supported your trip to Hainan and they will guide you where to go and what to do in order to activate the visa. In reality not such a complicated process. Please, keep in mind that your visa has to be activated before your departure from Hainan and like this you will be perfectly withing the law regulations.

Tell me please if I could enter the airport as part of my returning group but do not attain the flight, go outside and open my Chinese visa. Then enter with my opened visa and flight mainland.
I dont want to pay twice and go to hong kong.
