About:Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge

Hi! I wanted to ask if it is possible to do tianmen mountain and the glass bridge in one day?

We would start at 7.30 from the cable car station to go to the mountain, then wanted to tour the hole mountain and then take the bus back to zhangjiajie downtown and from there to the glass bridge? Is this a realistic trip? And if yes, which buses do we need to take from the mountain to the glass bridge?

Generally speaking, you can play both of them in one day, while the time could be a little tight. After you arriving downtown, you can take taxi to Wulingyuan Coach Station, in which has direct bus to glass bridge.

But can I take the bus from zhangjiajie long distance bus station to the glass bridge as well?

1. There are several buses departing from Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station to the Grand Canyon where the glass bridge is located at. It takes about 1h and takes CNY22.

2. You need to take cable car to the bridge and it costs CNY35 per person for one-way cable car.

Hi Nicole, we just did it. We are from Italy too by the way. We took the first cable car as you mentioned at 7.30am and then walked all around the mountain then got down with escalator+stairs and took the green bus down to town (choose price option cable + bus). We then took the local bus from the bus station that is next to the train stations for went to Wulingyuan, checked into the hotel super fast and walked to the local bus station to get the local but to Glass Bridge (clearly indicated). There you have a good two hours between the glass and the walk in the Canyon (great)and the small boat at the end will get you back to the local bus. It is feasible but we walk pretty fast so it depends on how you move around from place to place and within.

Oh ok thank you! But did you take the bus to the glass bridge first from zhangjiajie to wulinyuan and then to the glass bridge or directly from zhangjiajie?
When exactly did you take the shuttle bus down tianmen mountain?
Where did you get the tickets for the glass bridge?
