About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

Travelling before visiting China

My UK family are travelling for a year and planned to visit China about 7 months in. What are our chances of being accepted for a visa application that far in advance, or could we apply with a reasonable chance of being accepted from Kuala Lumpar or Singapore?
Also, is the application fee refundable on rejection?

Sarah, you are advised to apply one month in advance. You can apply at CVASC in Malaysia. Plus, the application fee is not refundable on rejection.
