About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

Spouse in China

Myself and my wife are currently living in the UK. She has to return to China (she is a Chinese citizen) for an extended period of time. I already have an L visa, as we visited China some months ago. In order for me to visit her am I going to be OK using my L visa or would you suggest re-applying for a family visa? This L visa I have is valid for 90 days, multiple entry for 2 years, so there are no issues as regards to how long I will be staying in China - just want to stay above the law. Thanks.

Hi, you can go to China on L type, and switch it to family Q type or extend the duration upon arrival in China if you will stay for long time.
