About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Thailand to Hangzhou / Train to Shanghai, Shanghai to US

Hi there,

Do I qualify for the 144-hour visa with this itinerary?

Flight: Phuket to Hangzhou
Train: Hangzhou to Shanghai
Flight: Shanghai to US

Yes, you are definitely eligible and your itinerary is fine. Anyway, you should keep in mind that your flights to Hangzhou and from Shanghai should not have any additional landing(s) within mainland China.
