Keep in mind that data points from last month suggest Turkish stamps are currently frowned upon in Beijing and there may be a chance that your entry to the country will be refused. You should consider whether to take the risk and show up without a visa or to apply for a transit Visa.

Everything you should do is to count your hours that you will spend in China and they (hours) are counted starting from your scheduled arrival in Beijing until your scheduled departure from Guangzhou. So, beside the layovers, you have to add also duration of your flight between Beijing and Guangzhou. If the number of hours for the entire transit through China is less than 24 hours, you are definitely eligible for 24 hours visa free transit. It really doesn't matter whether you will take inernational, domestic flights with this or that ticket and this or that company... The only thing that matters is as I have mentioned above - less than 24 hours in China.
