About:Lingshan Buddhist Scenic Spot

Why did they demand I submit my passport after traveling?

So I’ve been coming to china so often that on my last visa collection they made me sign that, as soon as am back from China I’ll take my passport to the embassy. What’s that about? And how long does it take?
