About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I can't get the ticket for my outgoing flight ahead of time.

I'm trying to get the 72 hour visa for Tokyo>South Korea>Shanghai>Tokyo, but I won't be able to get the ticket to Tokyo before my actual flight.
The 72 hour free visa says that I need the ticket, but I can only give the itinerary and booking number as proof. Is that okay?

When you have booked the flight to Tokyo then you have an e-ticket and that's ok.
At the check-in at Shanghai airport, they just give you the boarding card, not a ticket.

btw. it's not a visa and Beijing changed from 72 to 144 hours a longer time ago.
