Landing visa Hainan

Hi, I'm an australian passport holder. If I have booked flights and hotel accommodation online will I get landing visa on arrival in Hainan without any prior approval?
From what I understand visa free entry is different category to visa on arrival for which you pay 168 yuan. Thanks in advance

Hi, as long as you book the return flight and hotel, you do not make any prior approval. Plus, as you know, visa free entry is different from visa on arrival.

Predrag, I would sincerely suggest you not to go after Hainan VOA, but after Hainan 30-Day Free Visa Access. I know, that you probably prefer not to have anything with the agencies, but you should also know that Chinese authorities are trying to present Hainan VOA as something hard or almost impossibly to obtain. In reality, Hainan 30-Day Free Visa Access is really easy thing and the truth is that it is usually enough to book just an airport transfer and the agency will support you at relevant authorities, so that you arrive in Hainan with peace of mind.
