Do I need a visa?

I am Canadian taking the train from Ulaanbaator Mongolia on September 8 at 7:30 am, arriving in Beijing, China on September 9 at 2:35 pm. My flight back to Canada leaves Beijing on September 9 at 6:25 pm. Am I eligible for a transit visa?
