About:Chinese Clay Figurine Museum

Transit through Guiyang and Xian

Hi,

I am an Australian citizen flying from Melbourne to Prague with two stops in China, on in Guiyang and then to Xi’an. I will not be leaving the airport, but will this require a transit visa given I will be in 2 different cities and boarding a domestic connecting flight?

You are allowed to do that in case that the time from your first scheduled arrival in Guiyang until your last scheduled departure from Xi'an is less than 24 hours. Simply speaking, in this case you would be covered by 24 hours visa free transit. Also it simply does not matter whether the flight between Guiyang and Xi'an is domestic one.
