About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Question about itinerary and 72 hr visa

Hi,

Ill be going from nrt-PVG in March, ill be staying the next two full days, and leave in the morning on that final day (arrive Mon, tue/Wed at Shanghai disney, Thur depart). On the day I depart, I'll be going from pvg-nrt(layover) - sfo(final destination)

You need a visa for Japan-Shanghai-Japan. You’re not in transit.
