According to China Eastern We have to claim baggage and then to proceed to connecting flight for fresh check-in . My question is,

No, you don't need any kind of visa because your itinerary makes you definitely eligible for 24 hours visa free transit. The procedure you will have to do is a pretty simple:

- You will apply for 24 hours free entry permit upon your landing, just before immigration and it will be granted to you because you simply have to exit from the transit zone. Listen, you should have in your hands you passport and flight tickets in hard copy. This is necessary to obtain this free entry permit. You will also collect your luggage.
- You will change the terminals and there perform new check-in and immigration

It's pity that you don't have more time that will allow you to explore a city for a while... OK, this is it, quite enough time to perform all the mentioned formalities, but really nothing to be worried about.
