About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Chengdu

third country meaning in Chengdu 144 hours visa free policy

when you say that one needs to have a ticket to the third country. can it be back to the first ?
meaning (example)
can i fly from Amsterdam to CD (stay for 144 hours) and back to Amsterdam?

No, it is not eligible. It is a visit rather than transit.

You should be creative... You can fly Amsterdam - CD - Paris - Amsterdam or something like this and become eligible.
