About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

I'm a Lebanese passport holder also holding UAE residence and US Valid visa

plan to travel to countries and pass through Hong Kong, plan to stay there for a couple of days. My question is:
- Can I get a Chinese Multiple Tourist Visa from UAE and
- can I travel to Hong Kong holding the Chinese Multiple Tourist Visa or should I get a separate Hong Kong visa.
Thank you for answering.

1) Multi-entry visa issuance is up to consular officer's decision and normal travelers won't get multi-entry visas unless holding a US/Canadian/Brazilian/Argentine/Israeli/UK passport.
2) Mainland Chinese visas are not valid for HK and you need to apply for a separate visa. Expect 8-12 weeks if applying to an embassy/consulate and 4+ weeks if applying directly to the Immigration Department by air mail. Details are listed on the HK Immigration's website.
