About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Got the entry permit sticker but no entry stamp

Hi,

I have a 144h visa free transit in my passport and after arriving at the hotel I found out that I don't have a red entry stamp in my passport, only the sticker. I called the airport immigration but they had no idea how to help me. Since there is a date of entry on the sticker, I assume the entry stamp might not be needed?

Please, just enjoy your time. This is not a problem, since Chinese authorities will clearly see that you have applied according to all the rules and that one of their employees did not insert the stamp. Having just a sticker is enough. Continue with your plans with peace of mind and just forget about the stamp.

Entry stamps were replaced by entry stickers over two years ago.
