About:China Visa

What is the scribbled word on my visa sticker and what does it mean?

I entered China yesterday, but just saw that the immigration officer at the border had scribbled something onto my visa sticker next to 'Issued at': it looks like either "PIG", "PI6", "PUG", or "PU6" (her pen had no more ink, and it looks like the 'I' is an incomplete 'U', and the 'G' could as well be a '6'.

Below the remark she put a tick.

So my question is, what is it about this 'pig' remark? I have had similar stickers before, but it is the first time that an immigration officer at the border wrote anything onto the sticker. same applies to the tick.

It's very strange. May I ask where do you enter China? Shanghai? I guess it's PVG, the code for Shanghai Pudong Airport, but I can't figure out the reason either.
