About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Kunming

Dubai to Bangkok with 6 hours layover in kunming

Hello, I am holding Philippines passport. I am traveling from Dubai to Bangkok with 6 hours layover in the city. Do I need visa to go outside to spend the 6 hours layover?

If Kunming is your only stop within mainland China and your layover is 6 hours, you are definitely qualified for 24 hours visa free transit. Anyway, I sincerely doubt that you will be allowed to exit the airport since all transit times less than 8 hours are usually regarded as too short. Of course, you can apply for 24 hours free entry permit upon your arrival maybe you will be granted a permit, but be prepared to be rejected.
