About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Ian travelling to Bangkok via Shenzhen airport.

The payoff is 18hrs can we leave airport travel to Hong Kong and back for onward journey to Bangkok Thailand

You can definitely use Shenzhen airport for your itinerary London - Shenzhen - Bangkok because you will be covered by 24 hours visa free transit. You cannot travel to Hong Kong and back, but you can apply for 24 hours free entry permit upon your arrival in Shenzhen and explore the city (Shenzhen). It is highly advisable that you enclose hotel booking along with your application for the mentioned entry permit.
