About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

US passport going to cochin (India) then HongKong for a day (no visa needed) and then 1 day in china

1 day stop in Guangzhou (coming from Hong Kong), then flying to Singapore. Do I need to apply for a visa, or is it considered transit and no visa needed. Thanks

You must fly from Hong Kong to Guangzhou. Travel by land requires a visa.
