About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is a flight schedule Auckland - Shanghai - Hong Kong - Auckland valid for 144 hour transit visa?

If those are your only stops and your passport qualifies, then yes. Note that your Auckland to Shanghai flight must not stop in Hong Kong or mainland China, for example.
