About:China Visa Application Requirements

Do I need to show my deep poll

I'm transgender so I used to have a different name. Will I need my deed poll (proof of name change) for my application?

Also, I'm worried about booking flights, hotels etc and then my visa being rejected. Do you know if I'm able to get refunds through some travel insurance companies if my application was rejected?

Hi, your deed poll is not needed generally. But if you had a passport in the past and have been to China, the deed poll can be needed.
Plus, as for your second question, you cam contact with travel insurance companies for more details.
