About:Shanghai Maglev Train

If we are catching a flight at 9.30h in the morning in Pudong

it is possible to take the meglev train if we are staying in the center of Shanghai? Are there bad traffic in the morning, where should we stay to avoid bad traffic to arrive in Longyang station? I would like to experience the meglev, but not at the expense of missing my flight.

Hi, the traffic is okay in the early morning and you can take metros. The first maglev train departs at 6:45 and it takes about 25 mins to the airport. You need to catch the first departure or you will be late for the flight. You can stay near a metro station like East Nanjing Road, People's Square. In addition, the Metro Line 2 starts from 6:00 and it is better for you to catch the early metro.
