About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Do Canadians need to provide fingerprints to obtain a visa (as of Jan. 1, 2019)?

Canadian citizens in Canada need to provide fingerprints in order to obtain a tourist visa to China. I believe this only affects people travelling to China for the first time? How does this work for Canadians residing in Korea?

In addition to people travelling to China for the first time, people who have been to China but did not provide fingerprint also need.
As for whether it works in Korea, you should contact the China Embassy in South Korean.
