About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 Hours Transit visa in Shenzhen Airport

British Citizen passport holder
Travelling from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to Shenzhen Airport, China , visit Shenzhen within 2 days then will travel by bus from Shenzhen to Hong Kong. Finally , fly from Hong Kong to HCMC.

Is it possible to get 72 hours transit visa in this case ?

Yes, you are eligible for 144 hours visa free transit, but you should keep in mind one very important detail. You can use a bus to travel between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, but keep in mind that you have your bus ticket ready to be shown to Vietnamese authorities to be allowed to travel to China and the same ticket has to be shown to Chinese authorities upon your arrival at Shenzhen airport. So, you have to find a website where you will be able to purchase a bus ticket (or at least a confirmation for your bus ticket)! Alternatively you can also use a ferry (catamaran) from Shekou port in Shenzhen to Hong Kong by TurboJet because they are issuing online tickets or confirmations. Like this you will satisfy the criteria that are essential for obtaining 144 hours visa free in Shenzhen.
