About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

First stop in Beijing, then Haikou HAK

Hi,
I am Swiss citizen.
I will arrive in Beijing (with 24 hours free visa) from Paris to fly to Haikou/Hainan (with Hainan 30-day visa-free)
I will have to check-in my lugages in Beijing to Hainan.
Am I eligible for this 24 hours free visas ?

You are not allowed to do that because to be eligible for 24 hours visa free transit you simply has to travel between two different countries through China. In your case, you are not traveling between two different countries through China because China (Hainan province) is your destination. In order to accomplish your flight itinerary you will have to obtain Chinese visa regardless the fact that you are, as Swiss citizen, eligible for Hainan 30-Day Visa-Free Access. By obtaining the Chinese visa, you will be released from all other formalities that are required for obtaining Hainan 30-Day Visa-Free Access like agency support or similar because Chinese visa covers Hainan as well.

In case that you still intend to travel visa free, you will have change your flights to reach Hainan from abroad or from Hong Kong that is considered as third country in this regard.
