Tourist visa for a Swedish citizen

Hello, Are a Swedish citizen and have booked tickets to visit a friend in Shanghai. Traveling from Melbourne, Shanghai, Beijing.

1. If I am looking for a tourist L visa and my friend writes an Inviation letter, does she or I need to state a bank statement?

2. Is it approved to have a scanned Inviation letter or an email, where correct information is included?

4. What does an official stamp mean?

1. A bank statement is not required for the application.
2. The invitation letter may be in the form of fax, photocopy or computer printout.
3. If the invitation letter is written by your friend, offical stamp can be replaced by her signature.
