Would I be eligible?

I am a Canadian citizen, would I be eligible for the 144 hour visa-free transit. My flight is from Toronto to Hong Kong to Shanghai (then stopping over in Hong Kong) to Australia, then going from Australia (stopping over in Hong Kong) to Shanghai (then stopping over in Hong Kong) back to Toronto.
