About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Sweden and Denmark to Shanghai

Hi,
I am a Spanish national and live in the south of Sweden.
In order to take an international flight I need to take a train to Denmark and fly from there.
Would the following itinerary be ok for the 144 hrs visa free entry?
Sweden to Denmark via train
Denmark to Shanghai via flight (obviously)
Shanghai to Denmark via flight
Denmark to Sweden via train

thanks!

Of course it is not eligible. Denmark-Shanghai-Denmark is not a transit to a third country. You need a visa or different flights.

Thanks for the answer and understand...
If I fly from Denmark to Shanghai and then back to Sweden is this ok?

Thanks again!

Do I have to buy different tickets?
For example:
Copenhagen - Shanghai - Vienna - Copenhagen
is this ok?
Or the Vienna - Copenhagen has to be on a different ticket?

Either one ticket or different tickets is fine. It doesn't matter at all.
