Hello I am an indian passport holder travelling from mexico to india i have a transit visa for canada well another stop of my flight is in Baiyun Airport (CAN) do i reqire the transit visa for the same ?

No, you do not in case that you meet the criteria for 24 hours visa free transit in China. In case that you have just one airport in mainland China for your entire journey, Guangzhou as you have mentioned, you have to calculate the time from your scheduled arrival in Guangzhou and your scheduled departure from Guangzhou. In case that the time between arrival and departure is less that 24 hours, you are perfectly eligible for 24 hours visa free transit.

Everything you need is to count the number of hours from your scheduled arrival in Guangzhou until your scheduled departure from Guangzhou. In case that the number of hours is less than 24, then you are perfectly eligible for 24 hours visa free transit in China and consequently do not need any kind of visa.
