Can I still use the expired US Passport with PRC visa that has many years remaining on it?

I just renewed my US passport in April 2019. However, my old passport (expired) has many years of visa remaining on it. Can I still use the expired passport with the PRC visa to enter into China? Many thanks for helping with the questions.
