About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

HK-Shanghai-Macau

Hi. Can i fly the above route on the 144 hour visa. Is that visa obtainable on landing in HK or online?

HK-Shanghai-Macau is allowed on a 144 hour transit without visa (its not a visa). You tell the airline in Hong Kong that you are doing the transit without visa. You then apply when you land in Shanghai.
