About:Tianmen Mountain (Heaven's Gate)

If I want to go to Tianmen Mountain which route will you suggest, cable car or bus ?

I'll reach Zhangjiajie at around 5:30 on may 1st, which route should I prefer to go to tianmenshan in order to save time and enjoy the trip ?
Is there any hotel facilities up there in case if I want to stay there for a night and how about the expense?

1. It is suggested to take bus to go up the mountain and take cable car to go down the mountain.

2. There is no hotel to stay in scenic area but you can stay near the entrance. The Gezihua International Hotel is recommended since only 5 minutes' walk can get the bus stop and cable car station. It takes about CNY200-300 per night.
