Im US citizen Wife chinese national she owns house in china can we are going to vacation there

CAn I get a visa and by pass the hotel and Invite letter if we stay at her house?

Bill, you can either apply for a Q visa or L visa. As your wife is a Chinese, you don't have to provide hotel bookings, an invitation letter plus your passport, application form, and recent photo are enough.
