About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Renew or Extend Q2 Visa

I am currently in China with a Q2 Visa.
Valid till August 1. Entitled to 90 days stay within this period.
So far so good.
Now my 90 days are due on May 9. and i am wondering if i need to wait till August 1. expiring date of the visa to re apply for a visa or if i can go right away to reapply (outside of china)
Or, can i extend this within China right away? This would be the perfect solution.

Michael, if it's a single entry visa, as long as you leave China, it will expire and you can reapply. You can either try to extend it for another 60 or 90 days at the local Chinese Exit and Entry Administration before the current 90 days are due.
