i am arriving at hangzhou international airport at 1pm on 3/5/2019.

Question

I plan to go direct to Shanghai first before going to Hangzhou. How do I go from the airport to Shanghai?Or is it  better that I visit Hangzhou city  first before going to Shanghai?

There is no direct bus from the airport to Shanghai, so it is better for you to take a shuttle bus to Hangzhou East Railway Station and then take a high speed train to Shanghai. It takes about 1 hour to take the shuttles bus and the bullet train also takes around 1 hour. However, remember to book train tickets in advance.
