About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Extension for Q2

How many times can I extend Q2 visa?
Can I apply for a residence permit with this visa?
Do I need register at the police station?

Andrea, generally, you can extend a visa within China for twice at most. It's not possible to get a residence permit with a Q2. Upon your entry, you need to register at the police station within 24 hours if you live in your relative or friend's home. If you lodge in a hotel, the hotel will help you to register.
