About:China Tourist Visa

do I still need the letter of invitation?

If I get a VISA to China , staying at a hotel for a week, after that if I stay at a relatives place for 2 days, do I still need the letter of invitation? Thanks.

Jane, actually if you can show round-trip tickets and hotel bookings when applying for the tourist visa, it's not necessary to submit the letter of invitation.
