I got a invitation as a visiting scientist for the duration of 5 months from East China normal University. Wat is the procedure to get visa for 5 months....

You can apply for an F type visa at the CVASC in India. The required documents include your passport, application form glued with a recently-taken photo, and an invitation letter from the university.
