About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

I hold Canadian passport.

I am Canadian. Can I come shanghai for business or Travel 5 days ( <144hours). Can i use free transit visa for this case?. If I fly from Vietnam??? any trouble???

This is fine in case if you plan to arrive in Shanghai by flight from a country like Canada, Japan or any other, but it cannot be Vietnam because you will fly to Vietnam after you have used your 144 hours visa free transit. To conclude, you can have a journey like this one: Vancouver - Shanghai - Ho Chi Minh. This is fine, but take care that your flights Vancouver - Shanghai and Shanghai - Ho Chi Minh do not have any other landing within mainland China.
