About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Fly to Beijing and then to Kyrgistan

Maybe it is already asked, but just want to be sure. We want to go to Bejing from Seoul and then fly from Beijing to Kyrgistan, so we have some time to spend IN Beijing. Can we get a transit visa, even if we have separate tickets, seperately booked, so we don't have boarding passes yet for the onward flight? Because in this case we need to get our luggage first and go to immigration, so it is not really a transit

You don’t need a transit visa because you can transit without visa.

You should just keep in mind to count the hours from your scheduled arrival in China and your scheduled departure from the country. If the above mentioned is within 24 hours, you are covered by 24 hours TWOV.

I'm telling you this for purpose because there are no direct plane connections between Beijing and any Kyrgyzstan airport, so I assume that you plan to travel via Urumqi. Here one warning. Urumqi airport allows only 2 hours visa free travel!!!

To conclude, I would strongly advise you not to book any flight itinerary before you make a consultation that will guarantee that you will be able to cross through China using any kind of visa free transit scheme.

Thank you for the response. Does this mean if you transit in Urumqi, you can only transit when the next flight is in less then 2 hours? Or you mean if you want to go our of the airport?

Unfortunately, these 2 hours mean that the time gap between your two flights is allowed to be a maximum of 2 hours or 120 minutes. In reality, this is almost non achievable. The flight from Urumqi to Bishkek departs in the morning hours, so I sincerely doubt that you can find some convenient flight from Beijing with arrival within 120 minutes before departure for Bishkek. You will probably have to apply for G transit visa.
