transit visa to attend an event in guangzhou

I am an Indian working in Taiwan. My trip is Taiwan to India, India to Guangzhou,Guangzhou to Taiwan. can i use the transit Visa in Guangzhou to attend an event for a day ?

If your layover time in Guangzhou is under 24 hours, you can get the 24h direct transit in there. No need to apply for transit G type.
